From a young age, the urge to create art was a defining characteristic of my life, a natural form of expression that shaped how I viewed the world.

However, life's path led me to pivot, and I spent a rewarding and impactful period immersing myself in teaching and working in special education. This work, though distinct from the studio, offered its own creative challenges and fulfilled a deep desire to nurture and shape.

Now, later in life, I've returned to my first true calling. A dedicated home studio has become my sanctuary and workshop, allowing my focus to shift back to the creation of art pieces.

My current work is an exploration rooted in the visual dynamics of the world around us, with an emphasis on light, reflection, texture, and landscapes. Through this dedicated practice, I'm integrating the perspective gained from my time in education with my foundational artistic instincts, resulting in a focused body of work.
